Sage Picks Three

By Peter Kray

Sage Cattabriga-Alosa recommends a few of his favorite terrain parks.

We asked Sage Cattabriga-Alosa to pick three terrain parks, and these were the first three that came to mind. Of course, he reminded us, “The truth is, I spend most of my time in the powder.” So don’t expect to see him if it snows.

Park City
Home turf for a lot of Olympic halfpipe riders and some pretty damn good locals, plus a superpipe and four separate parks for all your separate skills.

Mammoth
Cool SoCal scene under blue skies on deep white snow with lots of big-name pros. For you, 75 acres of Unbound parks, pipes, and runs.

Whistler
Want to get a first look at the next Winter Olympics and ride two peaks of terrain parks as well? Whistler/Blackcomb gives you more than eight different terrain options, with an easy-to-read menu of features to let you know when you’re in over your head.
